Sunday, July 10th, 2011The Glengarriff Summer Talks Series is launched on Thursday July 14th at 8 PM, Glengarriff Park Hotel.
The first talk is by Kurt Lyndorff, from The Ewe Sculpture gardens, a former war correspondent.
‘The Constant Gardener in War & Peace, from Golan and Guatemala to Glengarriff’ describes his 30 year journey, illustrated by photo slides.

Glengarriff GAA 30 year celebration
Sunday, July 10th, 2011Glengarriff GAA Club is Celebrating its 30th Year! To mark this milestone the club is hosting a week long schedule of events in Pairc Garbh and in & around the Village on the Week of the 10th to 17th July.
Saturday 9th: Under 8 Football Blitz in Parch Garbh @ 10:30a.m.
Sunday 10th: Official Opening at the Hall After Mass
Monday 11th: GAA ‘Quiz Night’ in the Maple Leaf with registration from 8p.m.
Tuesday 12th: Showing of Club DVD‘s in the Blue Loo @ 9:30p.m.
Wednesday 13th: Traditional Irish Night & Ceilí in the Eccles Hotel @ 9p.m.
Thursday 14th: Seanachaí, inc. Traditional Irish Story Telling in The Hawthorn Bar @ 8p.m.
Friday 15th: Mass for the Deceased Members of the Club in Parch Garbh @ 6:30p.m.
Saturday 16th: ‘Pitch Party’ & Family Sports Day from 2p.m.
Sunday 17th: ‘The Glenside Cup’ Glengarriff vs. Tousist @ 3p.m.

Pairc Garbh – the Field of Dreams

Glengarriff GAA is representing Munster in the Kellogs Field of Dreams competiton and could win a makeover of the grounds worth €100,000!
RTE are coming to Pairc Garbh tomrrow 6th Spetember to shoot an advert for the campaign. ALL welcome -please come along with your flags!
