This was an important day for tourism and commerce in the South West as it will re-open the gateway to the UK. The previous Swansea Cork ferry service was terminated in 2006 leaving the region high and dry. The new ferry is the initiative of a cooperative and has been dubbed “the peoples ferry“. Well done to all involved!
